As I now take the train and tube to go to work a few times a week, I’ve been reminded about the amount of signage thrown at passengers everywhere. The sheer volume of it is crazy, and nothing really does stand out anymore. Or does it?

After my public letter to Brittany Ferries I posted last week, I did receive a reply. Not the one I was expected though. Neither in form nor in content. As I took the time to write with pen and paper and send them a recorded signed for letter, I was at least expecting a printed letter back. Maybe I made a mistake to also send it by email to their customer service. It’s probably the same people processing both, so I only got an email back… Read on.

Last week-end (18-19th August 2012), I went back to France to see my family. This was only a couple of days, and was a very nice stay.
However, it all got tarnished by Brittany Ferries’ failure to be on time, and having to spend the night in Portsmouth, stuck between Cherbourg and London.

Here’s a letter to Brittany Ferries I make open because it’s really a shame that the only services operating between England and Cherbourg suffer from frankly bad customer service when on-board staff is doing all it can to make it work! @BrittanyFerries should really sort itself out!
